My Trip to the Empire State Building

It was a wonderful day after finishing dinner with a burrito. We gathered at Washington Square Park and started heading towards the Empire State Building. The subway was dirty and crowded as usual. After the suffer inside the train I reached the Empire State Building. Then I got the ticket and run straight forward to the escalator and transferred myself to the elevator. The architect was nothing but impressive, I can hardly imagine how people at that time can build this tower. I also realized it is not only a building. It also symbolizes the strength inside an American heart and their stubbornness. I then turned my sight towards the view on the top of the tower. I can see the whole New York City, and it was just terrific. The night view of the city was even better. When the sun sets down the city turns into another form. Lights started to light up and the whole city glitters through the night. Making New York looking like a big Christmas tree. After the sight-seeing I bought some souvenir for my friends and family. The tour was really fun and I learned a lot. I finally know how a unique city New York is, and how it fits its unique title, “The City that Never Sleeps”.
